Senior Buyer - Tg. Mures - international travel
We are looking for a Procurement Professional to effectively coordinate supplier relationships, manage strategic sourcing processes and deliver real value through well-founded business decisions.
The ideal candidate
- Completed higher education (preferably in economics, engineering, management)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (purchasing, supply chain, procurement management)
- Advanced negotiation, commercial analysis and decision-making skills
- English – advanced level (the interview will be conducted in English); other languages are an advantage (Spanish, German, Czech, Chinese, etc.)
- Availability for international travel – including participation in trade fairs and visits to suppliers
- Solid PC operating skills (Excel, PowerPoint, ERP)
- Ability to work autonomously, with rigor and responsibility
- Flexibility in managing work schedules, including availability for extended hours when projects or deadlines require it
- Openness to occasional involvement outside the standard schedule, depending on operational emergencies or international collaborations
- Excellent communication, relationship and collaborative skills
- Attention to detail, adaptability, initiative and interest in continuous improvement
Job description
- Full management of raw material purchases, in accordance with internal requirements and market dynamics
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs and increase efficiency
- Negotiating commercial contracts, maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and identifying new partners
- Market monitoring, trend analysis and strategic reporting
- Close collaboration with production, logistics and finance departments to ensure a coherent operational flow
- Actively participating in process improvement initiatives and proposing innovative solutions
