Job description
- Develops market studies identifying the total market potential and target market;
- Based on the market study, it develops the short, medium and long-term sales plan, in terms of value and quantity, for existing and new customers;
- Monitors the achievement of the established sales plan;
- Establishes clear objectives for the orientation and organization of sales activity;
- Develops and submits for approval to management the activity plan, which will include, at least: general objectives (sales level), detailing of objectives (sales by customer, product groups), concrete action plan, technical - material, financial and human support considered necessary to achieve these objectives;
- Evaluate the market potential in figures according to statistics, comparisons with the competition in terms of competitiveness, price, flexibility, delivery time, availability, top 10 products or 20% of products that generate 80% of turnover;
- Performs benchmarking analysis for the domestic market in order to integrate the aspects identified as positive, respectively to eliminate risk factors;
- Determines the potential of each client and plans sales volumes in relation to the commercial strategy;
- Analyzes weekly and makes decisions regarding orders sent by customers for products/services;
- Collects market data, prepares and presents reports with proposals and studies to management on the use of the most effective methods to improve the sales program and promote new products/services, depending on market requirements;
- Participates in establishing pricing policy in order to obtain optimal results in distribution and sales activity;
- Prepares weekly activity reports on market developments: global market situation, degree of coverage of market requirements at a general level and by product groups, degree of customer satisfaction, market situation in relation to competition, non-achievements for the period;
- Correctly identifies potential clients, makes proposals for their implementation and on the way to organize one's own activity, pursues the continuous development of the client network and the increase in turnover in accordance with market potential;
- Monitors the collection of amounts owed by customers within the deadlines established by contracts.
