Production manager - Acatari location, Mures county

The ideal candidate

• Completed higher education in a technical field: electrical, industrial, mechanical, automation engineering or similar
• Solid experience (minimum 3 years) in a leadership role in production, preferably in the cable, electrical or automotive industries
• In-depth technical knowledge of industrial processes, specific machinery and manufacturing technologies
• Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S principles – an advantage
• Excellent coordination, planning and decision-making skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple decision-makers
• Strategic thinking, performance orientation and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Skills in using ERP and MS Office software
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written

Job description

• Coordination, organization and supervision of all production activities in the factory
• Ensuring the production plan is achieved, in accordance with quality standards, delivery times and cost efficiency
• Managing and supervising strategic development projects of the department
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of technological flows and work processes
• Implementation and compliance with health, safety and environmental policies
• Managing work teams (shift managers, technicians, operators), ensuring training, motivation and evaluation of staff
• Establishing and tracking performance indicators (KPIs), reporting them to general management
• Active collaboration with maintenance, supply, logistics and quality departments for the smooth running of operations
• Involvement in production line modernization and digitalization projects
• Efficient management of material and energy resources
